Miya Bajar is a village situated in the Purnea district of Bihar. Rehab India Foundation organized the inauguration of this VDP on the 7th of February, 2017. Ribbon cutting was done by Adv. Sayeed Raja, Ex Mayor.
The programme began with Mr. Md. Ashfaque, Project Coordinator, welcoming the gathering. Mr. Sadagar Ali, Project Coordinator explained about the objectives and aims of Rehab.
Mr. Shafiullah, Community Development Incharge, said that, even after 70 years of independence, the people in states like Bihar, West Bengal and Assam are living without basic amenities. He further added that, only when children are motivated and appreciated will they be able to work to their full potential and reach greater heights and come out with flying colours.
Moulana Abdul Mannan, told that, Rehab is doing a great job by improving the education, health and the economic situation of the most backward regions. He explained the importance of education in the light of Hadith and Qur’an. “Education is the wealth of a man and without it one cannot lead a dignified life”, he quoted.
Adv. Sayeed Raja, gave a brief explanation about the pathetic situation of the Seemanchal area. He then motivated the children and people of the village to pursue primary education. He also assured that he will always be a full support for this noble work.
Mr. Nirmal Kumar, Head Master shared his experience. He said that, his students have now achieved good positions. He also asked the villagers to utilize the services provided by Rehab properly.
Dr. Md. Qamal, Principal and Professor Dr. Kapil Dev, ML Arya College, expressed their views about the significance of education and health.
Mr. Afsel felicitated the land donor. Mr. Isaq felicitated Mr. Masrur Alam (Engineer, VDP Donor Team Member), Mr. Shafiullah felicitated Mr. Sayeed Raja, Mr. Saravana Kumar felicitated Mr. Nirmal Kumar, Mr. Ajnas felicitated Moulana Abdul Mannan, Mr. Vinay felicitated Dr. Md. Qamal, Mr. Anwar felicitated Mr. Sahibul Islam (VDP Committee Member)and Mr. Sadagar Ali felicitated Prof. Kapil Dev.
The programme was brought to an end with the Vote of Thanks presented by Mufti Sarfaraj Ahmed, President, Popular Front Of India, Purnea.
